SEBARAN KEJADIAN DAN FAKTOR RISIKO LOW BACK PAIN PADA GURU SMK DI KOTA PALEMBANG
Low back pain (LBP) is a clinical syndrome characterized by the main symptoms of pain or discomfort in the lower back that originates in the spine, muscles, nerves, or other structures in the area and surrounding areas. LBP has individual risk factors such as age, gender, body mass index (BMI), and smoking habits. Other risk factors are work-related risk factors such as years of working, ergonomic, and work duration. This study aims to find out the spread of events and risk factors for low back pain in vocational teachers. This study used an observational descriptive method using total sampling in teachers of SMK 5 Kota Palembang. This study used primary data taken by filling in questionnaires and respondents obtained as many as 91 people. Univariate analysis is performed using the SPSS application. The incidence of LBP among teachers obtained from the results of this study is as high as 43 (47.3%). The incidence of LBP based on gender obtained the highest results in the women group as many as 67 respondents (73.6%), LBP incidence based on age obtained the highest results in the ≥50 group as many as 28 respondents (30.8%), LBP incidence based on BMI obtained the highest results in the normal group of 45 respondents (49.5%).
