PROFIL KLINIS PASIEN BENIGN PROSTATE HYPERPLASIA (BPH) YANG MENJALANI TINDAKAN OPERATIF DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG TAHUN 2020 Pendahuluan: Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) yaitu suatu diagnosis patologis yang merujuk pada proliferasi jaringan di dalam zona transisi prostat. BPH merupakan penyakit yang bersifat multifaktorial yang dapat menimbulkan keluhan berupa obstruksi, iritasi, atau keluhan pasca berkemih. Gold standard pada tatalaksana BPH adalah pembedahan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil klinis pasien BPH yang menjalani tindakan operatif di RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Metode: Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian observasional deskriptif dengan desain potong lintang atau cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah data rekam medis pasien BPH di RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang tahun 2020 yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Hasil: Penelitian ini memiliki sampel sebanyak 82 pasien BPH. Rata-rata usia subjek penelitian adalah 67,74±8,5 tahun yang memiliki IMT normal (68,3%) dengan kategori pekerjaan berat (47,6%). Sebagian besar merupakan perokok aktif (58,5%), memiliki riwayat hipertensi (52,4%), dan tidak ada riwayat diabetes (93,9%). Keluhan utama terbanyak adalah obstruksi (78%) dengan volume prostat di USG ≤80 ml (73,2%). Seluruh subjek penelitian dilakukan tindakan operatif berupa TURP (100%) dengan indikasi operasi berupa retensi urin akut (76,8%) dan lama rawat inap >3 hari (87,8%). Kesimpulan: Profil klinis pasien BPH yang menjalani tindakan operatif di RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang memiliki usia dengan rata-rata 67,74±8,5 tahun, IMT normal, pekerjaan berat, keluhan utama obstruksi, perokok aktif, tidak memiliki riwayat diabetes, memiliki riwayat hipertensi, tindakan operatif TURP, lama rawat inap >3 hari, volume prostat ≤80 ml, dan indikasi operasi berupa retensi urin akut. Kata kunci: Benign Prostate Hyperplasia, BPH, operatif ABSTRACT CLINICAL PROFILE OF BENIGN PROSTATE HYPERPLASIA (BPH) PATIENTS UNDERGOING SURGERY AT DR. RSUP. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG YEAR 2020 Introduction: Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) is a pathological diagnosis that refers to tissue proliferation in the transition zone of the prostate. BPH is a multifactorial disease that can cause complaints like obstruction, irritation, or post-voiding complaints. The gold standard in the management of BPH is surgery. Therefore, this study aims to determine the clinical profile of BPH patients undergoing surgery at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Method: The research was a descriptive observational study with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study was the medical record data of BPH patients at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in 2020 has met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: This study had a sample of 82 BPH patients. The average age of the research subjects was 67.74±8.5 years with a normal BMI (68.3%) and heavy work category (47.6%). Most of them were active smokers (58.5%), had hypertension (52.4%), and had no diabetes (93.9%). The most common chief complaint was obstruction (78%) with prostate volume on USG ≤80 ml (73.2%). All patients underwent TURP (100%) with surgical indications was acute urinary retention (76.8%) and length of stay >3 days (87.8%). Conclusion: The clinical profile of BPH patients undergoing surgery at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang has an average age of 67.74 ± 8.5 years, normal BMI, heavy work, a chief complaint of obstruction, active smoker, has no diabetes, has hypertension, TURP surgery, length of stay >3 days, prostate volume ≤80 ml, and has acute urinary retention.
