PENGARUH NEOVAGINA TERHADAP FUNGSI SEKSUAL PADA PASIEN MRKH DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG PERIODE JANUARI 2018 – JULI 2021
Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome (MRKH) is a congenital abnormality characterized by the absence of the uterus and vagina with the characteristics of agenesis or aplasia of the proximal third of the uterus and vagina in women with normal karyotyping (46,XX). Neovagina is an operative procedure that aims to treat MRKH syndrome so that patients can have sexual intercourse. This study aims to determine the effect of neovagina on fexual function in MRKH patients at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang period January 2018 – July 2021. This research is a descriptive observational study with a cross-sectional approach. Samples were collected using a total sampling method, which means that the entire population will be taken as a sample in the medical record installation and the polyclinic of the urogynecology and reconstruction department of Dr. RSUP. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. The data were presented in the form of univariate analysis using the SPSS program, then the data obtained were presented in tabular form and explained in a narrative and interpreted. The results of this study showed that the average FSFI score in MRKH patients who underwent neovaginal surgery was 27,75. based on the FSFI score, the majority of MRKH patients who underwent neovaginal surgery were found to have good sexual function (66.7%). The average FSFI score interprets sexual function as good (> 26.55) and the majority of MRKH patients who have undergone neovaginal surgery found to have good sexual function, indicating that the neovagina has a good influence on the sexual function of MRKH patients during sexual intercourse.
