HUBUNGAN KEHAMILAN REMAJA DENGAN KOMPLIKASI MATERNAL DAN PERINATAL DI RSUP Dr. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG TAHUN 2019-2020
Adolescent pregnancy is defined as pregnancy in women with an age range of 10-19 years. Adolescent pregnancy occurs in about 25% of women worldwide. Adolescent pregnancy is considered a high-risk condition that causes maternal and perinatal complications. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between adolescent pregnancy and the incidence of maternal and perinatal complications at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Tahun 2019-2020. This type of research is analytic observational with secondary data collection and cross-sectional approach. The total sample was 94 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data is taken through medical records. Univariate and bivariat statistical analysis using Chi-square test. In this study, the results showed that the characteristics of adolescent mothers were mostly found based on maternal age 15-19 years (97.9%), high school education level (91.5%), unemployed (100%), married marital status (80,9%), the number of ANC ≥4 times (59.6%). The most maternal complications were anemia (66%) and the most perinatal complications were prematurity (59.6%). There was a statistically significant relationship between adolescent pregnancy and prematurity with p value= 0.013 (OR= 3.144) and low birth weight with p value= 0.036 (OR= 2.679).
