Chronic kidney disease or CKD is an abnormality of kidney structure or function that occurs for more than three months, which has implications for health. According to IRR 2 018, the number of hemodialysis patients continues to increase with the proportion of hemodialysis patients aged 45 proportion. Meanwhile, patients aged 26-- 64 years being the largest 35 years contributed 6.93% and will continue to increase. This will affec t the quality of life of patients in early adulthood. So that further research is needed to prevent hemodialysis in early adulthood. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors for chronic hemodialysis patients in early adulthood at Dr. Moh ammad Hoesin Palembang. The type of research used in this research is descriptive observational using a crosssectional design using primary data from questionnaires and secondary data from medical records. The sample used in this study were 21 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. Data processing will be carried out using SPSS 25.0 using a frequency distribution. Data analysis will be presented in the form of tables and narrative explanations. The results of this study showed that 42.9% of patients h ad a history of hypertensive kidney disease, 23% of patients had a history of chronic pyelonephritis/PNC, 9.5% of patients had a history of primary glomerulopathy, 9.5% of patients had a history of obstructive nephropathy, 4.8% patients had a history of lu pus nephropathy, 4.8% of patients had a history of polycystic kidney disease, 4.8% of patients had a history of uric acid nephropathy, and no patient had a history of diabetic nephropathy. So, it can be concluded that the biggest risk factor in the Hemodia lysis Installation of Dr. RSUP. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in early adulthood was hypertensive kidney disease. The researcher's suggestion for this research is that further research is needed thoroughly in an analysis using a larger sample. Universitas Sriwijaya
