The population growth rate in Indonesia is still high. Increasing the use of modern contraceptive is one of the efforts to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates and to slow down the population growth rate. The use of modern contraceptive tends to stagnate.This study has purpose to analyze the determinant of modern contraceptive use in urban area of Indoenesia. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design that using secondary data, Indonesia Health and Demographics Survey 2017. Sample of this study amount 15.520 married women.
