WHO states that the case of preschool-aged children who are underweight in the world is 15.7%. Riskesdas shows that in 2018 the proportion of undernourished children under five was 13.8%. Picky eaters are one of the risk factors for children experiencing malnutrition because picky eaters tend to have lower intakes of energy, carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals than non-picky eaters. In children who have picky eater behavior tend to have less weight due to food consumption that does not vary so that intake tends to be inadequate. This study aims to analyze the relationship between picky eater behavior and nutritional status in preschool children in the working area of the Sukaraya Baturja Health Center. This research is a quantitative research using a cross-sectional design. The population of this study were mothers and preschool age children (3-5 years) who were in the working area of the Sukaraya Health Center with a total sample of 92 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling which was adjusted to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Bivariate analysis showed that there is no significant relationship between picky eaters and nutritional status in preschool children in the working area of the Sukaraya Baturja Health Center based on the BB/TB index (P-value 0.402) and the results of multivariate analysis showed no relationship between picky eaters and nutritional status. in preschool children after being controlled by the variables of mother's education and children's physical activity with P-value 0.586 (P-value >0.05). Mothers need to increase knowledge in varied child feeding so that children can easily recognize new foods
