Stress is a physical and emotional response that is dangerous and can occur when the existing work exceeds the ability or work control possessed by the worker. Work stress on teachers in special schools (SLB) is caused by a condition that arises when dealing with student progress. Factors that can affect work stress are work environment, workload and organizational structure. The research objective: to analyze the factors of the incidence of work stress on teachers at the Lubuk Linggau Special School. Research Methodology: This research is a descriptive qualitative study, the number of participants was 6 people with details (1 principal as key informant and 5 as informant). Data analysis used in this study was data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions / verification. Research results: show work stress on teachers who have difficulty sleeping, have problems, feel confused about doing work that is not in accordance with the ability to teach children in outside schools. Usually whiten patience in providing care. In workloads that cause work stress who experience headaches due to workloads, work becomes more burdensome because they teach children with special needs. In a good organizational structure that does not cause work stress, each teacher is in accordance with their work organizational structure. In a work environment that causes stress, the working temperature of the room in the class and in the hot office, not listening to music while working, there has been a misunderstanding in the communication process between superiors and subordinates.
