SPESIES PARASIT0ID PADA Liriomyza sativae (BLANCHARD) (DIPTERA: AGROMYZIDAE) DAN PARASITISASINYA PADA TANAMAN TOMAT RANTI DAN KACANG PANJANG DI DAERAH DATARAN RENDAH
Liriomyza sativae (Blanchard) is polyphagus-leafrniner insect attacking more than 70 plant species with belong to 20 families, 11 ornamental crop species, 13 wild plant species and 46 vegetable plant. Spesies the high diversity of host species might be followed by high diversity of its parasitoids. The objectives of this research was to investigate the diversity of L. sativae parasitoids and its parasitism level, on tomato and cowpea in low land. The research was a field survey for which observation methoa was applied, i.e. direct observation on small tomato and cowpea leaves attacked by L. sativae. The leaves were kept on petridish in laboratory and were observed on the emergence of insect adult (host or parasitoid). The results showed 6 species of L. sativae larva! parasitoid were found in Indralaya, Gelumbang, Tanjung Raja, Palembang and Banyuasin. Three of them had been reported previously i.e. Hemiptarsenus varicornis, Asecodes Neochrysacharis sp. They belonged to Hymenoptera orde and family of Eulophidae. The other three species were newly found in this research i.e. Diglyphus sp, N. okazakii and Chrysomotomyia sp. They also belonged to orde of Hymenoptera and family Eulophidae. The apparent parasitism of the most dominant parasitoid Neoc hrys o c hari s okazakii (29 percent) on tomato in Banyuasin. The highest sp. and was diversity of parasitoid on cowpea was 1.21 found in Banyuasin while Ihe lowest was 0.34 in Tanjung Raja.
