TANGKAPAN LALAT BUAH Bactrocera spp (DIPTERA; TEPHRITIDAE) PADA TANAMAN JAMBU AIR (Syzygium aqueum BURM) DENGAN BEBERAPA DOSIS METIL EUGENOL DI PALEMBANG
The research was to know the number of catched fruit flies. Its species and influence of drop frequency to fruit flies cactched with methyl eugenol on watery rose apple and the most efectivity period from any dosage of metyl eugenol. The research was conducted on 5 areas five in Palembang from October until December 2005. The research was arranged in a Grouply Randomised Design where the data was analysed by statistica, with five treatments and five replications. The parameters of research were species and amount of fruit flies caught, species of fruit flies caught, anf the most effective days of metyl eugenol. The result obtained was one species of the oriental fruit flies: Bactrocera dorsalis Hend. The highest population of oriental fruit flies was 737 individu at Siring Agung, and the best influence of metyl eugenol is 1 ml. And the most effective days of metyl eugenol is 36 days.
