Endometriosis is one of the most frequent gynecological disorders. Endometriosis is the presence of endometrial tissue and stroma outside from uterine cavity. The incidence of endometriosis is influenced by several factors including age at menarche and Body Mass Index (BMI). The prevalence of endometriosis is estimated at 2% - 22% in women with asymptomatic endometriosis, 35 % - 50% in infertile women and 80% in women with chronic pelvic pain. The purpose of this study was to analyze association between age at menarche and Body Mass Index (BMI) with incidence of endometriosis at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. This research is an analytic observational study with cross-sectional approach. This study was perfomed on a 62 post-operative patients with gynecological disorders at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in Januari 2018 – Desember 2020 based on inclusion criteria. From the 62 patients, the proportion of patients with endometriosis was 74.2%. The analysis using the chi-square test showed that the age of menarche (p=0,039) had a significant association with the incidence of endometriosis and there was no significant association between Body Mass Index (BMI) with the incidence of endometriosis (p=1,000). There’s significant association between age at menarche with the incidence of endometriosis. There’s no significant association between Body Mass Index (BMI) with the incidence of endometriosis.
