Agustus 2021 Ropi'ah Relationship between Demographics and the Implementation of the Covid-19 Protocol with Health Literacy in Silaberanti Village, Palembang City Kota Romwai numbers + 103 pages, 5 pictures, 18 tables, 2 attachment ABSTRACT Health literacy is an effort to increase awareness of the importance of health through the ease of public access to health information. The diverse demographics of the population as well as the large amount of information about Covid 19 received by the public has made the implementation of the current health protocol not running optimally. The purpose of the study was to analyze the simultaneous relationship between Demographics (age, gender, occupation, education, income) in the application of the Covid-19 Health protocol (3M) and find out what factors were the most dominant with understanding health literacy. The research method used quantitatively through observation analysis method with a cross sectional design, the sample was taken by the head of the family in the village of Silaberanti totaling 100 samples. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with the questionnaire method. Statistical test with chi square and multiple logistic regression. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between occupational demographics (p = 0.034; OR = 4.115; 95% CI = 0.066-0.879) and health protocols keeping a distance (p = 0.014; OR = 4.680; 95% CI = 1.368-16.010) with literacy comprehension. health in Silaberanti Village. Conclusion Simultaneously there is a relationship between demography and the application of health protocols with health literacy in Silaberanti Village, Palembang City expressed by the results of statistical tests.
