FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PARTISIPASI LANSIA DALAM MENGIKUTI PROGRAM VAKSINASI COVID-19 DI PUSKESMAS MERDEKA PALEMBANG
Background. The COVID-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2) virus has become a serious health problem that needs to be addressed. WHO has declared the COVID-19 pandemic as a public health emergency of international concern. The individuals who are easily infected with COVID-19 are mostly the elderly. To prevent COVID-19 infection, vaccination can be done. Method. This research is an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. The research data used was a questionnaire for 150 elderlies with categories of 77 elderlies who did not participate and 73 elderlies who participated in the COVID-19 vaccination program during the period October 2021-November 2021. The sample in this study was a population that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data obtained were then analyzed using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. . Results. There is a correlation between gender (p=0.000), age (p=0.003), occupation (p=0.004), education (p=0.001), knowledge (p=0.000), attitude (p=0.000), the distance of residence (p=0.000), accessibility (p=0.003), family support (p=0.000), socialization (p=0.000) and sources of information (p=0.003) had a significant correlation with elderly participation in the COVID-19 vaccination program at the Merdeka Community Health Center. Meanwhile, the participation of the JKN program (p=0.898) did not have a significant correlation with the participation of the elderly in the COVID-19 vaccination program at the Merdeka Community Health Center. Conclusion. There is a correlation between gender, age, occupation, education, knowledge, attitude, the distance of residence, accessibility, family support, socialization and sources of information that have a significant correlation with the participation of the elderly in the COVID-19 vaccination program at the Merdeka Community Health Center. Meanwhile, the participation in the JKN program did not have a significant correlation with the participation of the elderly in the COVID-19 vaccination program at the Merdeka Community Health Center.
