Buma Cima Nusantara 2021 xv + 137 pages, 18 tables, 13 images, 9 attachments ABSTRACT Introductio: PT. Buma Cima Nusantara is a company engaged in the agribusiness of sugar cane plantations and sugar manufacturing factories located in Ogan Ilir Regency. Based on noise monitoring carried out by this company in 2020, the results obtained at the Turbine area and Boiler area points, namely >NAB so that it can cause work-related diseases, especially increased blood pressure in workers.. Purpose: This research is to analyse the relation of noise intensity toward the increase of blood pressure on labord in the area of Turbine and Boiler PT. Buma Cima Nusantara. Method: The research uses an cross-sectional study which has analytic descriptive quantity. The number sampel in this research is 80 respondents. Data analysis was carried out in stage, namely univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using chi-square test. Result: Shows that there is the connection between noise intensity (p-value=0,041), age variabel (p-value=0,024), working periode (p-value=0,013), long exposure (p-value=0,020), ear protector (p-value=0,001), no connection smoking habit (p-value=0,396 dan 0,517) and no connection physical exercise/spot (p-value=0,258). Conclusion: The conclusion of the six variables is that there is a statistically significant relationship between noise intensity, length of work, length of exposure, and use of APT with blood pressure and there is no statistically significant relationship between smoking habits and exercise habits with blood pressure.
