Background: Prostate cancer is the second most common malignancy in men after lung cancer. Age and obesity are believed to be one of the underlying risk factors for prostate cancer. The Gleason score is used to determine the histopathological degree of prostate cancer. The worse the prostate cancer, the higher the person's Gleason score. This study aims to find out more about the relationship between age and BMI with the Gleason score in prostate cancer patients at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Method: This study is an unpaired comparative analytic study with a cross sectional design. The sample is in the form of medical records of patients with prostate cancer obtained from the Medical Records and Anatomical Pathology section of the Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Sample processing using SPSS application with chi square method. Results: Of the 94 samples, 53 samples (56.4%) belonged to the age group
