The objective of this research was to know the number of the pest where on various density of soybean {Glycine max L. Merril).This research was conducted in Sumber Jaya village Belitang II resort,Residence of East Ogan Komering Ulu South Sumatera, started ffom August untilNovember 2004.This research was arranged in a Grouply Randomised Design, wih fourtreatments and six replicates. The Parameters which observed were variation index,Berger-Parker index and Pielou Indeks.The results showed that the density of the soybean influenced the abundance of the significantly. The widest the density of soybean will have more number of the pest, with spesies indeks (2,46) and the lowest of dominanced spesies indeks (0,19) and the highest of everaged indeks.
