This research was conducted from Febuary until August 2004 at the.Entomological Laboratory, Univcrsity of Sriwijaya.The purposes of this research was to know the effect of prolific age of B.bassiana isolate PD2 Pagaralam on rice media against P. xylostella third instar.The methode use completely randomized design . uring PD2 isolate grown onhalf coocked rice media. This research use 8 treatment and 5 replications.This research show the highest mortality was found on 1 week trearment with percentage mortality of 47,34 persen one day after application. Two day after application the percentage 67,43 persen and the treatment with three weeks age the percentage 84, 828 persen after three days application.
