HUBUNGAN ANTARA FAKTOR RISIKO DENGAN TINGKAT KEPARAHAN RETINOPATI DIABETIK DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG TAHUN 2019-2020
Diabetic Retinopathic is a microvascular disorders which occurs because of longterm period effect of diabetes mellitus. Besides of DM, there are still a number of other risk factor which denigrates diabetic retinopathic, such as; age, gender, duration of diabetes blood pressure, and cholesterol level. This case will cause the damage to the retina which leads to the blindness. This research aims to establish the relationship between risk factors and the severity of diabetic retinopathy at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang on 2019-2020. This research uses analytical observational with cross sectional approach. The sample of this study is all of diabetic retinopathy patients at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in the period time January 1st 2019 – December 31st 2020. From the total of 47 patients, RD patients based on risk factors, containing group ages >50 years old for 85,1%, female patients for 53,2%, >5 years diabetes mellitus duration for 83%, hypertension blood pressure for 66%, blood sugar level during diabetes for 53,2%, and high-total cholesterol level for 27,7%. While the amount of retinopathy diabetic patients based on diabetic retinopathy clarification––most of the patients deals with PDR type for 59,6%. The analysis using the Chi-square and fisher test showed There are a significant relation between GDS level and total cholesterol level. Also, there are no significant relation between ages, gender, duration of DM, and blood pressure.
