KARAKTERISTIK PASIEN COVID-19 DI INTENSIVE CARE UNIT RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG PERIODE JANUARI - JUNI 2021
COVID-19 is a disease caused by infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus which has a very fast transmission rate. Most patients with confirmed COVID-19 have mild symptoms and have no complications, only a few develop severe symptoms. Patients with severe and critical symptoms receive treatment in the ICU which is generally due to ARDS or sepsis. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of COVID-19 patients in the ICU of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Period January – June 2021. This type of research is descriptive observational with secondary data collection and cross sectional approach. A total sample of 63 patients met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data is taken through medical records under the supervision of a third party. In this study, the results were obtained, there were confirmed patients with COVID-19 in the ICU, Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang from January to June 2021 had the most sociodemographic characteristics, male (54%), age group 60 years (41.3%), education history of high school (33.3%), working as a housewife (28.6%). It was found that most of the patients were from the ICU, Isolation and Emergency Room (61.9%), had no history of surgery (63.5%), the first PCR swab positive result on the swab 2 times (92.1%), the average result negative swab discharge from ICU on day 14, history of comorbid hypertension (52.4%), length of stay 7 days (52.4%), priority ICU admission as priority I (92.1%), all patients using CVC ( 100%), not using AL (95.2%), using IV oxygenation (90.5%), CRP levels increased (81%), D-dimer levels increased (81%), lactate levels increased (55.6 %), using tocilizumab adjunct therapy (61.9%), the outcome died (92.1%). 2. It was found from the results of the crostabulation of the characteristics of sex, age, length of stay, patient origin, CRP levels, D-dimer levels, lactate levels, number of comorbidities and number of organ failure can be parameters to see the patient's outcome. 3. The AUC value from the prognostic value of the SOFA score is 0.53 so that the SOFA score is a poor predictor model in predicting patient mortality.
