PENEKANAN POPULASI Pentalonia nigronervosa COQUEREL PENYEBAB PENYAKIT BANANA BUNCHY TOP VIRUS PADA TANAMAN PISANG MENGGUNAKAN NEMATODA ENTOMOPATOGEN Steinemema carpocapsae WEISWER
The research was conducted at the greenhouse and Nematological laboratory of Departement of Plant Pest and Disease, Agriculture Faculty of Sriwijaya University from November 2008 to February 2009. The objective was to know pathogenecity of Steirnernema carpocapsae to pressing Pentalonia nigronervosa population, vektor of Banana Bunchy Top Virus. For LD50 and LT50 counting, wasFANSHURI RAHMAN.held in the laboratory for pressing the effective dose and time of Pentalonia nigronervosa death. The research was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design, with seven treatments and four replications with nematode dose 10, 20, and 30 infectife juvenile nematode for aphid. P. nigronervosa population at the control plant is suite high and could survive until the attandance of early suspect at that plant. The effective dose for pressing vektor population was G treatment 20,17 S. carpocapsae per P. nigronervosa by using S. carpocapsae spraying treatment after P. nigronervosa investation. During 41,96 hours, G treatment be able to press 50% P. nigronervosa population, that is an effective time to spray S. carpocapsae after P. nigronervosa investation.
