HUBUNGAN TINGKAT STRES DENGAN MEMORI JANGKA PENDEK PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA SELAMA PANDEMI COVID - 19
Memory is the storage of acquired knowledge so that it can be recalled later. Stress plays an important role in modulating memory function. Stress levels are high and have a negative effect on cognitive function, especially memory storage. Changes during t he Covid19 pandemic have become additional stress for students of the medical architecture faculty. This study aims to determine the relationship between stress levels and shortterm memory students of the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University, Palemb ang during the Covid19 pandemic. This research uses analytical observational with cross sectional approach. The sample of this study were students of the Sriwijaya University General Practitioner Education Study Program who met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Of the 211 patients, PSPD students from the 2018 batch were 21 years old and female. It was found that 76.3% of students experienced severe stress and 66.8% of students had good shortterm memory. The analysis using the Chisquare test shortshowed that the level of stress had a significant relationship with term memory with a p value of 0.036.
