HUBUNGAN ANTARA POSTUR KERJA DENGAN NYERI LEHER PADA PEKERJA PENGGUNA KOMPUTER BANK SUMSEL BABEL JAKABARING PALEMBANG
Neck pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders worldwide that can cause disability, it is pain felt in the superior nuchae line to the first thoracic spinous process. The highest incidence of neck pain is in office workers who work in front of the computer. The factor that is often associated with the high incidence of neck pain is work posture. This study aims to determine the relationship between work posture and neck pain in computer users at Bank Sumsel Babel Jakabaring Palembang.
This study is an analytical study with a cross sectional design conducted in November 2021. Subjects were 52 people, using a total sampling technique from computer users in the Information Systems and Technology division of Bank Sumsel Babel Jakabaring Palembang who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The primary data were collected using the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire filled in by respondents and the RULA assessment sheet filled in by the researcher. The data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS application.
The results showed 37 (71,2%) respondents experienced neck pain. The majority of respondents have a moderate risk work posture, come to 40 people (76.9%). The highest proportion of workers who experienced neck pain was mostly male (51.9%) and aged ≤ 40 years (59.6%). There was a significant relationship between work posture and neck pain (p=0.009).
It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between work posture and neck pain in computer workers of Bank Sumsel Babel Jakabaring Palembang.
