HUBUNGAN HIPERTENSI DENGAN TEKANAN INTRAOKULAR PADA PENDERITA GLAUKOMA SUDUT TERBUKA DI RUMAH SAKIT KHUSUS MATA PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
Glaucoma is a group of chronic irreversible reformist optic neuropathy characterized by optic nerve damage followed by visual field disturbances and can cause blindness. Glaucoma is a disease with multifactorial risk factors including intraocular pressure and systemic blood pressure. This study aims to determine the relationship between hypertension and intraocular pressure in patients with openangle glaucoma at the Special Eye Hospital, South Sumatra Province. This research is an analytic observational study with a cross sectional design (cross-sectional). Samples were taken using quota sampling method based on recorded data at Eye Hospital of South Sumatera Province. The data is presented in the form of univariate and bivariate analysis using SPSS version 26 program. Furthermore, the data is presented in tabular form, explained in a narrative, and interpreted. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the most age group was ≥ 40 years (95%), gender was mostly female (53,8%), patients with hypertension (50%), increased intraocular pressure (76.3%), there was no relationship between hypertension and intraocular pressure in patients with openangle glaucoma with p value = 0.189 (p >α ).
