PENGARUH KONSENTRASI ZrO2 TERHADAP POROSITAS KATALIS MONMORILLONIT TERPILAR ZrO2
Research on the effect of Zr02 concentration on porosity of Zr02 Monmorillonit catalyst has been done. Natural montmorillonite was modified using Zr02 with concentrations are 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1 and 0.125 M. The catalysts was characteristed using XRD (X-ray diffraction) method to determine 29 shift and adsorption isotherm analysis using Gas Sorption Analyzer (NOVA-1000). The type of isotherm adsorption that formed (BDDT classification) is type II for mesopores catalyst and the type of isotherm desorption that formed (BET classification) is type B for slit-shaped pores or the space between parallel plates. Pilarization increased specific surface area of 25.0234 m2/g to 113.484 m2/g and total pore volume increased from 0.0437 cc / g to 0.1715 cc / g. While the pore radius average is not significantly increased, rising from 34.927 A to 39.08 A in the catalyst MZ 0.025 M. BJH (distribution of Pore) catalyst is a mesopores with pore radius 15-17A.
