HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DENGAN SIKAP DAN PERILAKU MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENANGANAN LUKA BAKAR GRADE 1
Background: Burns are injuries resulting from direct contact or exposure to sources of heat (thermal), electricity (electric), chemicals (chemicals) or radiation. Running clean water in the area affected by the burn is the most important treatment to avoid complications. Knowledge in the prevention and first treatment of burns will have an impact on people's attitudes and behavior Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes and behavior of society in dealing with grade 1 burns Method: This research is an observational analytic study with a cross sectional approach. The sample consisted of 121 people in data collection, the technique used was cluster random sampling technique. Data is taken via google form which is distributed to the public Results: In this results, from 121 samples, it was found that 65.5% of respondents had positive knowledge and positive behavior, while 47.5% of respondents had positive knowledge with a positive attitude towards handling grade 1 burns. Conclusion: Statistically, there is no significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes and behavior of the community towards grade 1 burns (p> 0.05).
