STUDI ADSORPSI ION Pb2+ MENGGUNAKAN KITIN DAN MEMBRAN KITIN DARI CANGKANG UDANG GALAH (Macrobrachium Rosenbergii)
Research about ability chitin and membrane of chitin had been done for the adsorption of lead ion. Chitin was isolated from prawn shells PT Lolamina Palembang. Characterized chitin determined by measuring deacetylation degree, water content, and ash content. Membrane of chitin as an adsorbent prepared by 0.01 g chitin and mixture of solvent DMA, NMP, LiCl and PVC as a support matrix. Characterized adsorption determined by measuring the contact time and concentration of ion Pb2+. Measurement of concentration ion Pb2+ in condensation by Atomic Adsorption Spectrophotometry. The result deacetylation degree of chitin was 39.48 %, the water content was 3.73%, the ash content was 0.66%. The optimum contact time chitin and membrane of chitin were 160 minutes and 100 minutes. The optimum concentration chitin and membrane of chitin were 100 mg/L, with the adsorption capacity were 82.36 mg/g and 87.71 mg/g.
