The aim of this research was, first to know effect plastic mulch and poultrymanure to growth and production of Chili. Second was to know effect of plastic mulch and poultry manure to some soil physical properties growth and production of chili (Capsicum annum L.). Third was to know combination effect of plastic mulch and poultry manure on some soil physical to growth and production of chili(iCapsicum annum L.).The research was conducted in Tanjung Seteko village, District of Indralaya. Ogan Ilir regency. This research was started ffom January 2008 to may 2008. The research used Randomized Completely Block Factorial Design with two factors as treatments and three repetitions as block. The first factor is poulry manure (B0 = 0 tons of poultry manure ha'1, Bi = 5 tons of poultry manure ha'1, B2 = 10 tons of poultry manure ha'1, B3 = 15 tons of poultry manure ha'1), second factors is plastic mulch (Po = Without plastic mulch, P1 = With plastic mulch).The result showed that the application of plastic mulch has decreased bulk density, to differ total porosity, increased soil content, increased soil permeability and increased growth and production of chili (Capsicum annum L.). Second : poultry manure of 10 tons ha'1 has decreased bulk density, to differ total porosity, increasedsoil content, increased soil permeability and increase growth and production of chili (Capsicum annum L.). Third : the combination of plastic mulch and poultry manurehave repaired soil physical properties and increased growth and production of chili(iCapsicum annum L.)
