Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the most common cause of severe vision loss in people aged 60 years and progresses rapidly to blindness. There are various factors that affecting the improvement of patients’ wet ARMD. In some studies, not all factors show the same effect in different populations of patients wet ARMD. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affecting the improvement of visual acuity patients’ wet ARMD at RSUP. Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang period January 2017—June 2021. This research is cross-sectional observational analytic study. Sample selected by using purposive sampling method with a total of 55 sample that fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criterias. The data was obtained from the medical records of RSUP. Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang period January 2017—June 2021. The results showed that the prevalence of patients wet ARMD who had visual acuity improvement after injection intravitreal anti-VEGF was 78.2%. Through bivariate analysis, it was found that injection intravitreal anti-VEGF (p= 0.002) was associated with wet ARMD patients’ visual acuity improvement, while age (p= 0.744), hypertension (p= 1,000), and diabetes (p= 0.639) had no association with wet ARMD patients’ visual acuity improvement acuity in patients wet ARMD The factors that affecting the improvement of visual acuity patients’ wet ARMD are anti-VEGF intravitreal injection (loading doses)
