HUBUNGAN DURASI PENGGUNAAN GAWAI DENGAN KEJADIAN MATA LELAH DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 PADA MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN DOKTER UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
The current COVID-19 pandemic is still a big problem in Indonesia and even in the world. Efforts made by the Indonesian government in preventing an increase in confirmed cases of COVID-19 are the imposition of restrictions on activities outside the home, including online learning processes, This makes the duration of using the device increase and the occurrence of eye fatigue on students. The type of research used is analytic observational with a cross-sectional design that uses primary data from the Visual Fatigue Index questionnaire. Based on the Fisher exact test statistical test, it was found that 96.3% of respondents experienced eye fatigue with a duration of using a device that was not up to standard (> 2 hours/day) with a p-value of 0,00. There is a significant relationship between the duration of smartphone use and the incidence of eye fatigue.
