Burnout in employees is an expression of fatigue due to facing stress for a long time in the scope of work, consisting of three dimensions, namely emotional fatigue, cynics and decreased personal achievement. Faculty staff of medicine spend more time working, this can cause employees to experience emotional demands and lack of time with family. In addition, faculty staff of the Faculty of Medicine have a very important role in the education process, namely as a contact for students, with various responsibilities, and not infrequently they are involved in stressful work situations. Stressful work situations over time can cause burnout. Because of the nature of the work of faculty staff of medicine, it cannot be denied that they are a group that is at risk of burnout. This study is a type of observational descriptive research with a latitude cut research design that aims to find out the prevalence of burnout in the education personnel of the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University. The data used in the study was primary data from the results of filling out questionnaires. The study will be conducted on November 1 - 15 and the data is analyzed descriptively in the form of tables to determine the distribution of burnout events based on sociodemographic factors, work from home impact and workload. Based on the results of the overall study, 73% of education personnel of the medical faculty of Sriwijaya University with low levels of burnout, by 14.2% with moderate burnout and as much as 12.7% experienced high levels of burnout. This research can be used for institutions in the hope that burnout prevention efforts can be carried out in employees at the Faculty of Medicine so as to avoid the negative impact of burnout.
