The aim of this research is to know and study the water system of the secondary piece on tidal wetland in Telang Karya Village (P8-11 S). Besides, the aim is to know the farming system in the Village and to give the recommendation of the water management system and the farming system that is the best in this Village. The research was started from September 2007 up to November 2007.The micro water system management aim to support the growth of the crop,especially from the aspect of the provisions of water. The water system managementin the swamp land especially was meant to maintain land humidity in the dry season,prevented the occurrence of the flood in the rain season and washing poisonouscompounds.The results of the research showed that the condition for the primary channel and the secondary channel available in the Village of Telang Karya P8-1 IS was good enough. Whereas the condition for the tertiary channel and kuarter was not so good because still had the tertiary channel that did not have the lock (the water channel).Based on the oldman classification, the climate class of the study area is Cl with the average temperature is 27° C. Based on survey and soil analysis, the farm land in the Village of Telang Karya is dominated by mineral soil with the textureis clay loam and pH is between 4-5. The yield of rice plant for one seasonis between 3 - 5,5 ton/ha.The improvement in several locations that are foJlowed up by themaintenance with increase the optimisation of the use of water in the land. So that,the requirement for water in the land fulfilled both at the rain season and the dryseason. Then the rice yield can be increased and the level of pirit occured can bereduced.
