This research about the impact of covid-19 pandemic to economic of rubber farmers family at simpang gegas temuan village tiang pumpung kepungut subdistrict musi rawas district, held in December 2020. This study aims to: (1) Analyze the differences in production and income of rubber farmers before and during the covid-19 pandemic in Simpang Gegas Temuan Village, (2) Analyzing the welfare level of rubber farmers affected by the covid-19 pandemic in Simpang Gegas Temuan Village, and (3) Identify the strategies used by rubber farmers to deal with the covid-19 pandemic in Simpang Gegas Temuan Village. The research method used in this study was the survey method. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The results showed that (1) Production of rubber farmers before the covid-19 pandemic was higher than during the covid-19 pandemic, In addition, the income of rubber farmers before the covid-19 pandemic was higher than during the covid-19 pandemic (2) The level of welfare before the covid pandemic with an NTPRP value of 1,18 in the prosperous category and the welfare level of rubber farmers during the covid-19 pandemic with an NTPRP value of 0,99 with a the criteria are not yet prosperous so that these results indicate a decrease in the welfare level of rubber farmers, and (3) The survival strategy carried out by rubber farmers in the face of the covid-19 pandemic with three strategies, namely active strategies, passive strategies, and network strategies, the average score is obtained a total of 11,16 with moderate criteria. Rubber farmers make more cash and non-cash loans as a survival strategy.
