DAMPAK COVID-19 TERHADAP PERUBAHAN PERILAKU SOSIAL DAN EKONOMI PETANI MISKIN DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN USAHATANI PADI DI KELURAHAN KERAMASAN KECAMATAN KERTAPATI
This study aims to (1) determine changes in social behavior before and during the COVID-19 pandemic among poor farmers in Keramasan Village, Kertapati District. (2) Knowing the changes in economic activity before and during the covid-19 epidemic in poor farmers in Keramasan Village, Kertapati District (3) Analyzing strategies for developing farming during the covid-19 pandemic for poor farmers in Keramasan Village, Kertapati District This research was conducted in Keramasan Village, Kertapati District. Data collection was carried out in March 2021. The research method used in this study was a survey method. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The sampling method used in this study is the simple random sampling method, with a sample of 210 farmers. The data processing method used in this study used normality test analysis and paired two-sample t-test and SWOT analysis. The results showed that there was a change in social behavior among poor rice farmers during the Covid-19 pandemic in Keramasan Village, Kertapati District, Palembang City in terms of knowledge and attitudes. Meanwhile, the skills aspect did not change. There are differences in the economic activities of farmers before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The amount of time allocated for rice farming workers before the Covid-19 pandemic was greater than during the Covid-19 pandemic with a difference of 4.68 (HOK/lg/yr) or 6.54 (HOK/Ha/yr). Rice farming capital before the Covid-19 pandemic was greater than during the Covid-19 pandemic with a difference of 151,593.35 (Rp/lg/year) or 215.91 (Rp/ha/yr). Farmer household consumption expenditure during the Covid-19 pandemic was greater than before the Covid-19 pandemic with a difference of Rp726,216. Finally, rice farming income before the Covid-19 pandemic was greater than during the Covid-19 pandemic with a difference of Rp464,676.92/lg or Rp1,570,433.44/Ha. The strategy to maintain rice farming during the Covid-19 period in the Keramasan Village, Kertapati District, is in the first quadrant of the Aggressive Strategy, meaning where the situation is very profitable. Rice farming has greater opportunities and strengths compared to its weaknesses, so it can take advantage of existing opportunities to reduce various threats, so as to increase rice farming yields with quality.
