The research was conducted in Greenhouse and Laboratory of Entomology Department of Plant Pest and Diseases Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University in August to October 2007. The objective of the research was to know the influence of kemel neem extract concentrate to mortality of larva and imago red mite Tennuipalvus orchidarum Parf. in orchid plantation. The research was use experimental method with completely random design with six treatment and four replication. The result of the research showed that giving kemel neem extract can influence the mortality of T. orchidarum mite. Kemel neem extract can cause larva red mite T. orchidarum mortality between 0.48 to 25.51% and imago between 0.48 to 31.56%. The degree at concentrate of kemel neem extract can increase the mortality of T. orchidarum. The larva and imago mite T. orchidarum that die by kemel extract will be black and dwindle.
