DESAIN GEOMETRI LERENG BERDASARKAN ANALISIS NILAI FAKTOR KEAMANAN (FK) DAERAH TAMBANG AIR LAYA UTARA, MUARA ENIM, SUMATERA SELATAN
North Air Laya is a pit area managed by PT Bukit Asam Tbk, with an open pit mine method. As in the other open pit mine, slope stability is a very critical thing that needs to be evaluated on a regular basis. This research is about geometry design based on safety factor analysis (FK) and applied Bishop method for evaluation of four different sections. FK from the old dump parameter material value based on the 2019 drill data are compared with the 2021 mould data. The results of the analysis include slopes with saturated groundwater conditions have FK value < 1,25 at cross sections A, B and C; while cross section D has FK value > 1,25. The engineering studies consist of : a) FK value increased by calculating geometry of the April design with ratio 1:3 of bench height and width for old dump material and 1:1 for insitu material; b) single slope bench is 20⁰ and berm width 18-20 m; c) stripping of old dump is up to 30 m. The three components are used as references for 2021 design evaluation. The next follow-up on slope stability which is affected by groundwater level is the design of horizontal and vertical trenches.
