Geologically, Central Bangka Regency has Placer Deposits very widespread. The purpose of this research is to identify geological conditions and analyze the distribution of tin (Sn) content in Placer Deposits. Determination of tin content of Placer Deposits using the method of Grain Counting Analysis (GCA) and XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) analysis on tin concentrate to determine the levels of Sn in ppm units. The geomorphology of the study area is composed of two landform units, namely Denudational Lowlands with Flat-Almost Flat Slopes (DR) and Denudational Low Hills with Very Sloping Slopes (PR). The stratigraphic arrangement from oldest to youngest is the Tanjunggenting Formation sandstone unit (TRt), Klabat Granite unit (TRJkg), sandstone unit of Ranggam Formation (TQr), and Alluvial depositional unit (Qa). Geological structure that forms the study area is analyzed for lineament patterns with DEMNas data having a relative southwest-northeast (SW-NE) and north-south (NS) direction. The results showed that the total location of placer deposits which obtained a tin (Sn) content value of 37 points had a concentration value of 27.2-2,242.3 ppm, covering 3 locations of Eluvial Deposits and 34 locations of Alluvial Deposits. The highest Sn of Placer Deposits are in the west and southeast of the study area which is indicated by white color including Alluvial Deposits, precisely in the sandstone unit of the Ranggam Formation at LP 23 with levels of Sn 2,242.3 ppm and LP 44 at 2,048.7 ppm. Sn content in mineable Placer Deposits is about 51 ppm (cut off grade), so that the Placer Deposits is considered very attractive to be developed. The dominant source of the material comes from the Low Hills in the south which is an outcrop of Klabat Granite and sandstone units of the Tanjunggenting Formation.
