The research area is located in Central Java Province, in the Pamriyan area, Purworejo Regency, Central Java Province. The area of the research area is 9 x 9 Km. The focus of this research is the Halang Formation, the Halang Formation is quite widespread on the island of Java, so it is very interesting to conduct further research in identifying the characteristics of the turbidite facies and the biofacies zoning of the turbidite deposits of the Halang Formation in the study area. . The Halang Formation is deposited in turbidite currents and has very diverse rock characteristics. In this study, there are 3 trajectories, each of which has taken description data and the thickness of the rock layers using the Mesuring Section (MS) method. The fossil content obtained is also a reference for drawing biozones on each trajectory which is correlated with the shape of the biostratigraphic column model. Based on biostratigraphic correlations, it was identified that the deposition of rocks in the study area was in the Late Miocene (N15) which was characterized by the appearance of the Globigerionoides immaturus species to the Early Pliocene (N18) which was marked by the appearance of the Orbulina universa species. In the biostratigraphic correlation in the study area, there are four datums, namely Globigerinoides immaturus FAD N15, Globorotalia siakensis LAD N15, Globigerina boweri FAD N16 and Orbulina universa LAD N18.
