STUDI PERSEBARAN KADAR Sn-REE PADA ENDAPAN PLASER DAERAH LUBUK BESAR, BANGKA TENGAH, KEPULAUAN BANGKA BELITUNG
Bangka Island is blessed with abundant tin mineral wealth. This is because the position of Bangka Island is inseparable from its geological setting which is the final phase of the Southeast Asian Tin Belt route (Cobbing, 1992 in Setiadji, 2014) which stretches from Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Riau Islands, and Bangka Island. This research is located in Trubus area, Central Bangka, Kep. Bangka Belitung. This study aims to determine the geological conditions, distribution patterns of lead (Sn) content and rare earth elements (REE) minerals. The methods used are surface geological mapping, Portable XRF analysis (X-Ray Portable Fluorescence) and Gca analysis (grain counting analyzer). Based on the results of field observations, it was found that four rock units were Tanjung Genting Sandstone, Klabat Granite, Ranggam Formation Sandstone and Alluvial Deposit Unit. Based on the mineral association, several minerals were found, such as cassiterite, monazite, tourmaline, ilmenite and xenotime. Based on Xrf data, the highest Sn content in the study area ranged from 2561 ppm. This area consists of alluvial lithology, where this material is included in the placer tin deposits. The highest La content in the study area was 432 ppm, the highest Ce was 1022,667 ppm, the highest Th was 519,6667ppm and the highest Y element was 313 ppm. Geological and lithological controls that affect the presence of sn and rare earth elements (REE). Keywords: Calsiterit (Sn), rare earth elements (REE) minerals, Lubuk besar, distribution patterns.
