ANALISIS TEGANGAN SISA PADA PENGELASAN MATERIAL PIPA API 5L Gr B DENGAN METODE ELEMEN HINGGA
This study aims to conduct welding modeling on API 5L Gr B pipe material in order to analyze the residual stress that occurs when welding API 5L Gr B pipe material. To do this, two softwares are used, namely JMatPro and Abaqus 2017, JMatpro software is used to find several parameters. tests such as: Young's modulus, density, flow stress, thermal conductivity, expansion coeff, and specific heat obtained after inputting the chemical composition of API 5L Gr B pipe material. While abaqus 2017 software is used to simulate welding modeling of API 5L Gr B pipe material with several processes as follows: making a specimen model, inputting material properties, meshing the specimen model, and continuing with the abaqus welding interface plugin to create a weld model. This research specimen uses three meshing models with different number of elements. Model 1 with 3870 elements, model 2 with 6072 elements, model 3 with 10192 elements. When the simulation is complete, the maximum residual stress in the HAZ model 1 area is 304.1 MPa and the base material is 729, 9 MPa, in the HAZ model 2 area of 361.9 MPa and the base material of 723.8 MPa and in the HAZ model 3 area of 416.7 MPa and the base material of 714.9. So it can be concluded that the maximum residual stress is in the HAZ area in model 3 and in the base material area the largest maximum stress is in model 1.
