SIMULASI DISTRIBUSI TEMPERATUR KOMPONEN NOSEL EKSTRUDER FILAMEN PLA DAN EKSPERIMENTAL PENGARUH TEMPERATUR PEMANAS PADA HASIL FILAMEN
Additive manufacturing is a manufacturing method that utilizes layer by layer stacking of a material. One classification of additive manufacturing is 3D printing. Plastic filaments used for 3D printing are produced through a filament extrusion machine that works by melting plastic pellets and then molding them into plastic filaments. In printing this filament, it is important to pay attention to the parameters that affect the yield of the filament, such as the suitability of the desired diameter, as well as the uniformity of the diameter along the filament. The study used a simulation method to see the temperature distribution of the nozzle component and liquid polylactic acid, and experiments were also carried out to find suitable heating temperature parameters to obtain filaments with the appropriate diameter. The results obtained are the appearance of the temperature distribution of the nozzle component and the polylactic acid model. From the experiment, it is found that the heating temperature parameter produces extruded filaments with the diameter closest to the desired results. It can be concluded that the temperature distribution of the nozzle component and liquid polylactic acid and the characteristics of the filament are still too brittle.
