PERENCANAAN DAN PERANCANGAN RUSUNAWA DI KAWASAN INDUSTRI RUMAH TANGGA PENGOLAHAN IKAN 28 ILIR KOTA PALEMBANG
THE DESIGN OF RENTAL SOCIAL VERTICAL HOUSING IN KELURAHAN 28 ILIR KOTA PALEMBANG IS NOT ONLY TO FULFILL THE HOUSING NEEDS BUT ALSO THE PUBLIC, SOCIAL, AND BUSINESS FACILITIES THAT TO SUPPORT LOW-INCOME PEOPLE ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES (MBR). KELURAHAN 28 ILIR HAS BEEN KNOWN FOR LONG TIME AS AN INDUSTRIAL AREA BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE HAVE HOME INDUSTRIES IN THE FORM OF PROVIDING GOODS OR SERVICES, REGIONAL FOOD BUSINESSES, AND FOODSTUFFS. FOR THIS REASON, THE RENTAL SOCIAL VERTICAL HOUSING WHICH WILL BE DESIGNED TRIES TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF HOW TO UNITE MANY FUNCTION INTO ONE BUILDING. THE DESIGN CONCEPT OFFERED IS TO PROVIDE A SPECIAL UNIT IN THE FORM OF A SHOP HOUSE THAT HAS BOTH RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL FUNCTION IN ONE UNIT. TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR RESIDENTS TO BALANCE BETWEEN HOUSEHOLD AND COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES. IN ADDITION, THE USE OF DEFENSIBLE SPACE FOR ZONING CONCEPT IS TO CONTROL THE SIRCULATION BETWEEN RESIDENT AND VISITORS TO THE BUILDING IN THE SITE AREA. IT IS HOPED THAT WITH APPLICATION THIS CONCEPT, THE OPEN SPACE CAN BE MAXIMIZED FOR JOINT ACTIVITIES NOT FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES. THE RENTAL SOCIAL VERTICAL HOUSING BUILDING ELEMENTS SUCH AS THE SHAPE OF THE ROOF, THE SELECTION OF OPENINGS, AND THE COLOR OF THE WALLS WILL LIFT THE TYPOLOGY OF THE EXISTING BUILDING AND ALSO ADDING A SECOND SKIN TO THE DRYING AREA TO MINIMIZE THE SLUM AND MESSY BUILDING IMAGE.
