PENGARUH STABILISASI TANAH LEMPUNG EKSPANSIF MENGGUNAKAN SERBUK LIMBAH KERAMIK TERHADAP NILAI CBR UNSOAKED
Soil is defined as a basic material that is very influential in the construction of building. Soil has different properties and characteristics at each location. Not all soils have a good bearing capacity, there are also many soils with mineral content that are not strong enough to withstand the load placed on them. One example of a problem soil that is clay, this type of soil is not good because is has a low bearing capacity and has large shrinkage properties. If a construction is built on subgrade that has a low bearing capacity, special techniques and methods are needed to minimize the impact caused by the soil condition. One of the common ways to get good soil properties is to stabilize the soil. The stabilization that was carried out was chemical stabilization by adding ceramic waste powder with mixed variations of 0%, 3%, 6%, 9%, 12%, and 15% with variations in curing time 0 days, 3 days, 5 days, and 7 days. The results of this study indicate that the increasing percentage of ceramic powder addition, the water content value decreases, while the maximum dry density value of the soil increases. From the results of the study, it was also found that the CBR value of unsoaked soil continued to increase along with the addition of the percentage of ceramic powder. The highest CBR value was obtained from a mixture of 9% ceramic powder with a treatment time of 7 days, the CBR value increased from 13.38% to 39.63% after the addition of the ceramic powder.
