ANALISIS DIMENSI KAPAL BARANG MAKSIMUM YANG DAPAT BERLAYAR DI SUNGAI KELEKAR
One solution to solve the problem of traffic congestion caused by freight transport is to use river transportation. One of the rivers that is often used for shipping cargo ships is the Kelekar River, but the feasibility of the Kelekar River as a shipping lane has not been observed. Thus, research must be carried out on the dimensions of the shipping lanes that are suitable for cargo ships to pass and test the accuracy of the method from the Ministry of Transportation. This research uses data collection method through literature study. There are two types of ships that will be used in this study, namely jukung ships and barges. The method used in this study adapts to the condition of rivers in Indonesiafrom several existing methods, those undermentioned methods are the most suitablefor the condition of rivers in Indonesia, namely the Ministry of Transportation Method, Yuwono Method, and ESCAP Method. Meanwhile, the comparison parameters that determine the shipping lanes of these methods are determined from the width of the plan groove and in the plan flow. Based on the Standardization of Feasibility of River Channels from the Ministry of Transportation, the width of the kelekar river is very unsuitable to be used as a shipping lane, while according to Yuwono and ESCAP there are several suitable shipping lanes.
