Indonesia is located between three tectonic plates, which are Eurasian Plate, Indo-Australian Plate and Pacific Plate, making Indonesia one of the most vulnerable country to earthquakes. Reinforced concrete portal with masonry infills is one of the construction that often used to face earthquake loads (seismic). This study was aimed to analyze the performance of reinforce concrete portal structures with lightweight concrete infills against combination of constant axial compression load and static cyclic laterals using numerical program. The research method was carried out using a finite element method (FEM) based program, start with modeling the portal structure with masonry infill given combination of constant axial compression loads and static cyclic laterals. The hysteresis curve of the program results would then be compared with the experimental test results. The difference in lateral force occurred was still below the tolerance limit. Then, modeling the portal structure with lightweight concrete infill. The result obtained from the research were hysteresis curve, maximum story drift achieved, maximum load and displacement, stiffness, and strength. The result of this study show that the performance of reinforced concrete portal with masonry infill walls and lightweight concrete have different results. Masonry has a larger displacement figure of 69.48 mm, whereas lightweight concrete only has a displacement figure of 46.32 mm. Lightweight concrete, on the other hand, has a greater load figure of 581.13 kN for pull loading and 530.88 kN for push loading, whereas masonry only has a load figure of 270.16 kN for pull loading and 262.35 kN for push loading. With a 115.1% difference in the direction of the tensile force and a 102.4% difference in the direction of the compressive force. This is because the characteristic of lightweight concrete is stiffer and more brittle than masonry.
