Infrastructure development is one of the many vital aspects in a countrys national development. Referring to the transportation infrastructure, roads have an important role in society, economy, culture and education. The importance of the role requires the road to have good stability services as much as possible. The improvement of road stability is expected to increase economic growth through improved connectivity between regions. Celikah – Kayu Agung is one of the national roads in South Sumatra wich has received the government’s full attention on road preservation. Preserving the road is inseparable from financing. Road Asset Management System (RAMS) is an alternative software that can be used to help the government to determine the type of damage and its preservation as well as the priority costs that must be incurred. Besides the use of RAMS, manual cost planning is also required. Engineering Estimate can be used as a planning manual in controlling the large budget of funds needed and spent on the preservation of the road. The results of the analysis of the calculation of maintenance and handling costs on the Celikah – Kayu Agung road section obtained for minor rehabilitation damage after calculations using RAMS and the cost of pavement layers using the Engineering Estimate in 2020 its Rp.1.185.176.269 and Rp.1.430.427.797, in 2021 its Rp.754.203.080 and Rp.780.289.303, in 2022 its Rp.754.203.080 and Rp.780.289.303, in 2023 its Rp.646.459.783 and Rp.671.961.221, in 2024 its Rp.969.689.675 and Rp.997.035.468, and six suggestions for handling obtained from software assistance, Warranty Periode, Routine Maintanance, Preventive Routine, Condition Routine, Major Rehab, and Minor Rehab.
