The entry of the Industrial 4.0 made every industrial technologies field must adapt to the situation. The era marked by digitalization has made various industrial fields to be able to take advantage of existing resources. No exception to the Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry which is commonly called the construction industry. It takes a variety of new technologies to adapt to the Industrial 4.0 Era. One of the best technologies to apply in the Industrial 4.0 Era is Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM is generally applied to planning and design. Planning and design are generally carried out by planning consultants, so it is necessary to research the planning consultant's level of readiness in adopting BIM. The planning consultant company in South Sumatra is the population of this research and there are 30 research variables used. The sample in this study amounted to 96 people who are individuals who know the characteristics of their company. The analysis technique used is the analysis of the average (mean), by ranking the mean value of each variable. The analysis was carried out with the help of Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS version 26. The results obtained showed that the planning consultants in South Sumatra Province were "Quite Ready" in adopting BIM in the Industrial Age 4.0 but with a long and gradual period of time.
