KARAKTERISTIK CAMPURAN HANGAT(WARM MIX) LATASTON HRS-WC MENGGUNAKAN MATERIAL SISA FLY ASH DAN BOTTOM ASH PLTU BANJARSARI KABUPATEN LAHAT TERHADAP FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT
Asphalt is a binder that is commonly used for road pavements. To meet the expected asphalt mixture temperature requires a lot of fuel, but it can increase air pollution. To reduce the air pollution, an innovation was made with the method Warm Mix Asphalt, where the temperature used can be reduced by 30°C from Hot Mix Asphalt by using added materials zeolite and wax. In this study, using coal combustion waste from PLTU Banjarsari Lahat Regency in the form of fly ash as a cement substitution and bottom ash as a sand substitution. This study uses a mixed variation in the form of a mixture standard with zeolite, mixed standard with wax, WMA uses fly ash and bottom ash with zeolite, and WMA uses fly ash and bottom ash with wax. In the tests fly ash and bottom ash that were carried out, they met the General Specifications of Highways 2018 revision 2. The results of the parameter Marshall on the standard mixture zeolite showed the highest melting value of 3.36 mm. The standard mixture wax has the highest VFA value of 78.71%. The mixture using fly ash and bottom ash with zeolite produces the highest VIM of 3.95%. The mixture using fly ash and bottom ash wax showed the highest VMA value of 18.26%, the highest stability of 996.00 kg and the highest MQ of 305.41 kg/mm. The results of the comparison of the four types of mixtures to the KAO value in the standard mixture with zeolite of 7.65%, standard mixture with wax of 7.85%, WMA using fly ash and bottom ash with zeolite at 7.7%, and WMA using fly ash and bottom ash with wax at 7.95%.
