NALISIS PERBANDINGAN STRUKTUR RANGKA BAJA TIPE SPLIT K BRACED EBF DAN INVERTED V BRACED CBF DENGAN TIME HISTORY ANALYSIS
In this study, a comparison of steel frame structure consisting of drift, interstory drift, drift ratio, and response time history structure outputs in the form of displacement, velocity, and acceleration with split-K braced EBF and inverted-V braced CBF was carried out. The analyzed structure was assumed to be a 10-storey office building located on soft ground. The method used was a dynamic time history analysis that has been verified with response spectrum of Mentawai Islands using the ETABS program, ground motion recording used is the 2007 Mentawai Islands Earthquake. The results show that interstory drift of the-K bracing EBF model was on average 13.633 mm x-direction and 16.413 mm y-direction, which was less than CBF type inverted-V, the x-direction average was 46.245 mm and the direction in-y was 46,225 mm. In split-K braced EBF model, maximum drift ratio is 0.005 mm in x direction and 0.006 mm in y direction, smaller than maximal drift ratio in inverted-V CBF type brace in x direction is 0.018 mm and y direction is 0.018 mm. Split-K braced EBF has a maximum structural response in the form of a displacement of 26,218 mm, a speed of 186.630 mm/s, and an acceleration of 1196.420 mm/s2 in resisting earthquake loads in time history, which is less than inverted-V braced CBF type, which has a displacement of 71.146 mm, a speed of 287.740 mm/s, and an acceleration of 2198,930 mm/s2. This shows that link in Split-K braced EBF can improve the structure's performance and stiffness.
