palembang is a city with various cultural acculturations, where this diversity can be enjoyed through cultural arts embodied in the museum. the design of this museum aims to provide a container that can accommodate these cultural arts in fine arts to increase people's appreciation of art. on average, the palembang museum itself only accommodates permanent exhibition activities, which generally exhibit historical objects that seem ancient. this design will provide a solution for this by providing facilities for permanent and temporary exhibitions and facilities for other artistic activities. the building will be oriented towards the best in-out view & the building responds to the hook on the site, with a separate visitor & manager circulation that also has a walkway with green areas. the form of the building with compact mass to respond to narrow space, the formation of permanent & temporary exhibition spaces will become the point-of-interest of the building and the open area as a performance space. the chronological presentation flow method for permanent & free exhibitions for temporary exhibitions, with a presentation method that emphasizes collecting objects' artistic & educational. the use of a rigid frame structure as the middle structure, deep foundation for the substructure & not concrete for the building's upper structure. building lighting balances the use of natural & artificial light, especially for the collectibles area. likewise with ventilation, balancing between natural & artificial ventilation. the electricity source uses pln, which will be distributed to the building through 2 powerhouses.
