ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN STRUKTUR RANGKA BAJA TIPE DIAGONAL BRACED EBF DAN CBF DENGAN TIME HISTORY ANALYSIS
The study analyzed comparison of earthquake-resistant steel structures compared between two models is diagonal concentrically braced frames with diagonally eccentrically braced frames. Fixed variables are a 10-story office building, structure load, and steel profile dimensions. Variable changes consist of the type of braces used. Data time history and location of the building using data from the Mentawai islands of Indonesia. This research analysis is assisted by computer programs with time history analysis methods. This study aims to find out and analyze structure's response to inequality, speed, and acceleration and how two models respond to floor inequality, drift ratio, and base shear force and will get the most effective modeling. The results of study obtained CBF diagonal type has a heavier structure than EBF diagonal which is 11,987.4 tons. The static base shear style of CBF model is for X and Y directions of 14895.717 kN while EBF model is 11102,544 kN. The basic dynamic shear force of CBF X-axis is 12444,36 kN and direction of Y 11655,295 kN, while EBF diagonal type is X 9019,126 kN and direction of Y is 9175,812 kN. In the study, greatest displacement, speed, and acceleration occurred in CBF diagonal model. CBF drift ratio value of the X-axis is 0.00822 and the Y-axis is 0.00902, while EBF is value of the X-axis drift ratio of 0.00536 and Y-axis by 0.00735. Research shows diagonal structure of EBF has a more effective structural performance than CBF diagonal in withstanding weight of Mentawai island earthquakes
